When is the best time of year to get a new roof installed?
Ideal temperatures for installing a new roof are temperatures above 45 degrees Fahrenheit or 7 degrees Celsius.
These temperatures ensure that any adhesives used can seal properly. Temperatures below 45 degrees Fahrenheit (7 Celsius) will not allow the adhesives to cure and create a proper seal. Hot temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit or 37 Celsius can also be a problem.
This means the best time to get a roof installed is late spring or between late summer and late fall.
