Commercial Roofing Sales & Estimator

Camco Roofing Ltd. – Winnipeg, MB

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Roofing Sales & Estimator to join our team.

This position is ideal for an experienced roofing professional who excels at building client relationships, identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and driving revenue growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our commercial roofing portfolio while providing technical expertise and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Roof Assessments & Client Consultation

· Conduct comprehensive commercial roof inspections and condition assessments.

· Identify active leaks, deficiencies, deterioration, and maintenance requirements.

· Provide clients with professional recommendations focused on extending roof life cycles and protecting building assets.

· Respond to emergency roofing concerns and provide effective troubleshooting solutions.

Sales & Business Development

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with property managers, building owners, consultants, contractors, and facility managers.

· Generate new business opportunities for roof replacements, re-roofing projects, repairs, maintenance programs, and service work.

· Conduct client presentations and communicate roofing solutions with confidence and professionalism.

· Meet and exceed sales and revenue targets through proactive business development activities.

Estimating & Project Coordination

· Prepare accurate and detailed estimates, proposals, budgets, and scope documents.

· Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure complete and competitive submissions.

· Coordinate project scheduling and resource requirements with operations and field supervisors.

· Ensure project scopes, specifications, and client expectations are clearly communicated throughout project execution.

Technical Expertise

· Demonstrate advanced knowledge of commercial roofing systems including:

o Built-Up Roofing (BUR/Asphalt & Gravel)

o Modified Bitumen (SBS)

o EPDM

o TPO

o Single-Ply Membrane Systems

· Create accurate roof sketches, measurements, and documentation for service and maintenance projects.

· Provide technical guidance to customers and internal team members regarding roofing solutions and best practices.

Leadership & Customer Service

· Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales and project lifecycle.

· Support and mentor field personnel when required.

· Represent Camco Roofing professionally in all client and industry interactions.

· Maintain company vehicle, equipment, and documentation standards.

Qualifications

· Minimum 5–7 years of experience within the commercial roofing industry. Or a proven track record of building strong client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and delivering measurable sales results within the commercial roofing industry.

· Proven experience in commercial roofing estimating and project sales.

· Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, repairs, maintenance, and replacement projects.

· Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

· Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

· Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to achieving results.

· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.

· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

· Red Seal Roofing Certification considered a strong asset.

· Proficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Office, and mobile applications.

Travel Requirements

· Occasional travel throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Northwestern Ontario may be required.
